Q1.) How many levels are in Tri-City charger football
and what are the ages and weights?
A1.) Three levels (Bantam 7-8 below 87lbs, Feather 9-10
below 97lbs, Middle 11-12 below 123lbs)
Q2.) How many teams will be at each level in Charger
Football?
A2.) Minimum of six teams at each level
Q3.) What are the playing rules for Charger Football?
A3.) All playing rules will be the same as Tri-County
Pac-10 level.
Q4.) Who will referee the Charger Football games?
A4.) All games will be refereed by actual Tri-City
referees.
Q5.) How will the teams in Charger Football be divided
up?
A5.) Players will be drafted after two weeks of
evaluation.
Q6.) Where will games for Charger Football be played?
A6.) All games will be played at home (Campton).
Q7.) How will playing time for Charger Football be
handled?
A7.) Same as Tri-County Pac-10 Level (11 on 11 off).
Q8.) How many games will Charger Football play?
A8.) Regular season games (8-9) and (1-3) playoff games.
Q9.) Will standing be kept for Charger Football?
A9.) Standings and scores for Charger Football will be
posted on the Tri-City Charger website weekly.
Q10.) Will a Super Bowl be played for Charger Football?
A10.) Yes, top two teams after playoffs at each level will
play each other on a Tri-City area high school field.
Q11.) How many times will we have to play the same team
in Charger Football?
A11.) You will play the same team no more then two-three
times including playoffs.
Q12.) How many players will be on each Charger Football
team?
A12.) About 15 players per team (Maximizing playing time
for all players)
Q13.) What is the youngest age that can play Charger
Football?
A13.) The youngest age will be 7 years old and a minimum
weight of 50lbs. (6-7 year olds can also play flag)
Q14.) When will Charger Football start?
A14.) Same as previous years (Last week in July
conditioning with helmets/First week in August full pads)
Q15.) Why is Charger Football the same price as travel
football?
A15.) Charger Football carries the same cost to the league
as travel (fields,refs,equipment,uniforms,trophies)
Q16.) How will coaches be selected for Charger
Football?
A16.) Same as travel football (Applicants will be
interviewed and selected)
Q17.) Can players be moved to Travel after the Charger
draft is completed?
A17.) No, all rosters will be frozen upon completion of
the drafts.
Q18.) How do you decide who plays Charger Football?
A18.) All (non Big-10 first year) players at a level and
any not drafted (second year/first year Big-10) players.
Q19.) Will we have older lighter and younger heavier
rules in Charger football?
A19.) Yes, we will keep the same rules as Tri-County.
Q20.) Will we have weekly weigh-ins in Charger
Football?
A20.) No, we will weigh in on week one only. Players must
make weight by the second week or move up
